Tessa Vollmeier is a Swiss Italian architect based in Zurich.
After graduating in architecture at ETH Zurich in 2016 with an exchange semester at the University of Hong Kong HKU, she worked for several months at the office Dürig AG in Zurich, where she undertook her internship in 2014, before starting a long collaboration with the reknown office Herzog & de Meuron in Basel in 2017. Since 2021 she is teaching assistent for the visiting professor Corinna Menn at the ETH Zurich. Next to the academic field she started her own practice as an independent architect in 2022.
Her background gave her the chance to acquire experience in a variety of programmatic fields, project phases and project scales. A life baggage which she continues to feed through challenging tasks, new inspiring collaborations and the dynamic field of teaching.
